About
Dr. Bridget Briggs is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician who specializes in functional medicine, bio-identical hormones, lipidology, women's health, and detoxification. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology at the University of California at Los Angeles and obtained her Medical Degree at the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Briggs pursued her love of women's health in an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas. She then completed a three-year residency in Family Medicine at Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
In 2001, Dr. Briggs went into private practice enjoying caring for patients of all ages in Temecula California. She is the owner of two family medicine practices, one in Murrieta and one in Temecula, which are part of the Temecula Valley Physicians Group. In 2005, after her four-year-old son was diagnosed with brain cancer, Dr. Briggs pursued her certification in Integrative Holistic Medicine where she learned how to incorporate lifestyle medicine into her own life and her patient's lives.
As a Family Medicine practitioner, Dr. Briggs treats a wide variety of diseases and conditions such as cold and flu, asthma and allergies, ear & eye infections, yeast infections, diabetes, high blood pressure, hormone imbalance, nutritional imbalance, stress & depression, muscle tears & sprains. With her specialty in Holistic and Integrative Medicine, she can implement solutions such as bio-identical hormone replacement, epigenetics and genetic interpretation, nutritional intervention, lifestyle medicine. Dr. Briggs is currently accepting new patients. For her patients' convenience, she speaks both English and Spanish.
