Biographical Info
Reenaben R. Patel, M.D. is an Internal Medicine physician specializing in Family Medicine and Geriatric Health, located primarily in Wildomar, CA, with other locations in Arcadia, South Pasadena and Glendale. She is board-certified in both Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine, and employs both western and eastern (Ayurvedic) medicine in her diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and conditions related to aging.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Patel loves being able to get to know and care for her patients and their families and creating a good rapport through continuity of care. Her approach involves making a difference in her patients’ lives by listening, understanding their needs, keeping an open communication, providing compassion, and most of all educating her patients to a healthier life.
Dr. Patel prefers a holistic approach to healing and focuses on caring for the person as a whole – mind, body and soul – through a fusion of western and eastern (Ayurveda) medicine. Ayurveda uses diet, herbals and yoga/meditation to find balance in the body. With all the pollution, toxins, and preservatives that people are exposed to on a daily basis, she believes this natural approach of healing is more effective for long-term wellbeing, but she also recognizes when western methods are necessary. Some of her offered services include: direct primary care, Ayurvedic medicine, lymphatic treatments, nutritional IV therapy, weight loss therapy, and unique facial treatments.
Past patients have given Dr. Patel excellent ratings, and she has received both the Rising Star and Top Doctor awards many years in a row.
In her spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and learning about new cultures, and reading or listening to audiobooks. She also enjoys dancing, practicing transcendental meditation, spin, and kempo karate, in which she received her black belt.
Dr. Patel accepts Medicaid, Medicare and many PPO and HMO plans from major carriers. She is currently welcoming new patients.
